Data deletion policy

At SocialHunt, we respect your right to control your personal data. This page provides instructions on how to delete your data from our systems.

  1. 1. In-App Deletion
    You can delete your account and associated data directly through the SocialHunt app:
    1. a. Open the SocialHunt app
    2. b. On mobile, click your profile avatar in the top right corner, and select "Account settings". On desktop, select "Account settings" on the left sidebar.
    3. c. Scroll down to the very bottom
    4. d. Click "Delete my account"
    5. e. Follow the prompts to confirm your decision.
    Please note that this action is irreversible and will delete all your data from our systems.
  2. 2. Email Request
    If you're unable to access the app or prefer to make your request via email, please follow these steps:
    1. a. Send an email to play@socialhunt.io
    2. b. Use the subject line "Data Deletion Request"
    3. c. In the body of the email, please include:
      • - Your full name
      • - The email address associated with your SocialHunt account
      • - A clear statement requesting the deletion of your data
    We will process your request within 30 days and send a confirmation email once completed.
  3. 3. Data Covered
    When you request data deletion, we will remove all personal information associated with your account, including but not limited to:
    • - Profile information
    • - Game history and scores
    • - Social media connections
    • - Any content you've created or shared within the app
  4. 4. Third-Party Data
    Please note that while we can delete the data you've shared with SocialHunt, we cannot remove any data you've shared directly on third-party platforms (such as Facebook or Instagram) through our app. You will need to manage this data separately on those platforms.
    • - Profile information
    • - Game history and scores
    • - Social media connections
    • - Any content you've created or shared within the app
  5. 5. Data Retention
    We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as basic account information for legal and tax purposes. However, this data will be minimized and not used for any other purpose.
